In my never ending quest to be less reliant on Google and co i needed a solution to build my own, self curated newsfeed. I really liked the functionality of the Chrome start page or Google App on Android provided: a simple newsfeed with content that might interest me.

Update 01.02.2022: A bug has been found in Samba in regards to MacOS extended attributes that can be exploited to gain root access, see CVE-2021-44142 for details. Following Samba versions were patched: 4.13.17, 4.14.12, 4.15.5 and all versions greater than 4.16

Important: you need Samba 4.9 (released September 13, 2018) or newer, so if you are using Fedora 29 or later or Ubuntu 19.04 or newer you should be good.

So normally i used to do Gitlab via Docker in quick succession, but in Gitlab 14.1 Background Migrations were introduced. So You have to wait until the background migrations have finished to upgrade to the next version.

I had troubles starting a minio docker container with Ansible. It was a minior error on my part, but i want to spare you the pain!
