About
I’ve been working in web development since 2000, but my love for computers started earlier. I got my first 286 PC in 1990 at the age of 9. Some minutes and screws later i saw the guts of a PC for the first time - it was love on first sight. My father didn’t love the sight of the disintegrated computer as much, probably because he spend a lot of money on it. I guess there and then i learned to keep calm in the face of potential death and to put together what belongs together.
I have always worked besides school, starting at the age of 15. When I turned 18, I started to wait in a restaurant/bar. I spent a lot of my breaks in the kitchen there and talked to the cooks. One cook in particular said: “Hey, I have a friend who ‘does stuff’ with computers and you talk a lot about them. Maybe I can give him a call and you can work there and do an internship?” I told him sure, but never thought anything about it. This was 1999.
A few days later I got a call from said friend inviting me to an interview to work in his company. I went there and it was a small “We do everything” webdevelopment, system integration, networking, server, PC shop - you name it. The cook wasn’t kidding. There were the two founders and now, me.
